One of the most lauded dishes is the spicy dumplings, praised by many for their bold flavor and satisfying texture. Alongside these, the shredded chicken with cold udon delivers a refreshingly light yet deeply savory experience, ideal for those seeking something a bit different. The curried beef brisket with rice strikes an exquisite balance between spice, sweetness from caramelized onions, and subtle hints of carrot, resulting in a comforting and hearty dish. Another stand-out highlight is the spicy sliced beef, tender and paired with fresh cucumber, adding a crisp contrast to its vibrant flavor profile. Soups at Heat Point, such as the wonton with mini prawns and seaweed, offer warmth and delicate umami that perfectly accompany the more intense dishes.
The dining atmosphere here reflects the bustling, communal spirit of an authentic Asian street market. Though Heat Point itself doesn’t have dedicated seating, it shares the lively and sociable ambiance of Tooting Market, where customers can enjoy their meals surrounded by eclectic stalls and friendly chatter. This casual setting only enhances the sense of discovery and adventure that comes with sampling such well-crafted, genuine Asian street food.

I tried the curry beef brisket with rice, it is not very spicy hot as it has good balance with sweet onion with a hint of carrot. Spicy sliced beef I would say it is the highlight of the shop, it is so tender and tasty (with fresh cucumber). Wontun with soup is in Chinese style with mini prawns and seaweed soup, which warmed me up for the food.

Great find that tucked away in a corner of Tooting Market. I and son #1 had the Curried Brisket and got some free spice won ton. Big portions. I didn't really need to eat anything major again. Good spice heat and lots of flavours. Really liked it. Like a lot of places in the market it doesn't have its own seating but there's tables and chairs nearby
